Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: July 2025

The short version: Some links on Chasing Bogeys are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. Our recommendations are never influenced by this.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a specially tracked URL that tells a retailer (like Amazon) that you arrived from our site. If you make a purchase after clicking one of these links, we receive a small percentage of the sale as a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer — you pay nothing extra.

Which programs do we participate in?

Chasing Bogeys is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com. We may also participate in other affiliate programs for golf-related retailers and brands from time to time. Any page or tool containing affiliate links will clearly note this at the top.

Does this influence our recommendations?

No. This is the part we feel most strongly about. The What Ball? tool, for example, generates recommendations entirely from independent robot-test data published by MyGolfSpy. We do not rank balls higher because they earn us more commission, because a brand reached out, or for any reason other than how well they matched your stated preferences. If a ball earns us nothing — or isn't even available on Amazon — but it's genuinely the best match for your game, that's what you'll see.

The same principle applies to every blog post, product review, and tool on this site. We will always tell you when we have a financial relationship with a brand or product, and that relationship will never determine our opinion of it.
